Job Description

PRIMARY PURPOSE

To provide support to end users at both the UK and India offices, resolving technical issues with hardware, software and network systems in line with agreed timeframes. Also supporting the physical and virtual infrastructure both on premise and in the cloud.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Support

  • To service the IT support desk and ticketing system, responding quickly to identified issues within agreed timeframes.
  • To minimize Operational downtime through efficient troubleshooting and problem solving.
  • To escalate issues to 3rd line support where necessary.Working with third line Engineers to gain an understanding of more challenging issues in order to resolve similar problems in the future.
  • To provide a pro-active support service to end users, working with employees and clients to identify and avoid future potential IT issues.
  • Providing training, education and awareness of relevant IT technology to improve user productivity.
  • Provide support for Active Directory & Office365 Environments
  • Provide support for Mimecast platform

Device management

  • To support, manage and maintain the IT needs of all employees, including all company PCs, laptops and workstations, Servers, mobile devices, company mobiles, printers and ancillary devices.
  • Provide support for Microsoft Azure & AWS infrastructure
  • Provide support for Virtual Desktop Infrastructure & Data processing machines
  • Provide support for the company MDM solution.

Data Management

  • To support the IT Team with requests for data restores and undertaking regular data archiving.

YOU MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN:

  • Windows 10/11
  • Windows server 2012 2022
  • Hyper-V
  • Active directory
  • Office365, OneDrive & SharePoint
  • Microsoft SCCM

DESIRABLE:

  • PowerShell (Desirable)
  • PowerApps (Desirable)
  • Microsoft Azure (AutoPilot and InTune desirable)
  • AWS (Desirable)
  • PC Building / Repair (Desirable)
  • Microsoft DPM (Desirable)
  • Network Management (Cisco experience desirable)
  • Zabbix (Desirable)
  • Veeam (Desirable)
