An exciting and unique opportunity has a risen within Perran Ward, Adult Mental Health Inpatients Ward. Perran Team are looking for new Charge Nurses to compete our MDT approach to patient care.
We are looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and passionate Band 6 Charge Nurses to join our team working within Perran Ward, a 15 bedded Inpatient Mental Health Unit at Longreach House. It is a place of safety, our focus as a team is to provide a trauma informed patient centred approach to care.
Interview expenses and relocation package will be considered for this post.
Perran Ward is an adult acute mental health unit working with service users from a wide range of backgrounds and cultures who are experiencing an acute episode of mental health difficulties.
Our emphasis is on providing a therapeutic environment, offering a holistic approach to treatment in a safe and supported space which promotes rehabilitation and recovery. We work with various professionals, carers and community staff to ensure effective delivery of care and a planned, safe and timely discharge.
The successful candidate will be required to deputise for the ward manager, oversee the day to day running of the wards and be responsible for providing high quality clinical leadership to the in-patient multi-disciplinary team through supervision and direction.
The appointee will be required to work rotational shifts including weekends and bank holidays as necessary, with a flexible manner to ensure a seamless whole service approach.
Safe and effective delivery of care will be expected alongside compliance with The Nursing and Midwifery Councils Code of Professional Conduct.
