Partridge of Hampshire are looking for a self-motivated people-person to join our team in Chandlers Ford.

Who are we?

Partridge of Hampshire is a family run, independent retailer representing both BMW and MINI across Hampshire. With our ‘hands on’ Managing Director, Toby Partridge, leading the way we are fast becoming the name for BMW and MINI across the region. Having spent 25 years working with BMW, Toby is passionate about the brand and is building a team around him who feel the same.

What is the role?
You will be working within our Aftersales department and undertaking driving duties as required. Working alongside our driver team to manage the customer parking areas and keeping parking available for customers at all times of the day. Completing body checks on customers vehicles and recording any damage using our video recording systems. You will also be greeting customers to our business and guiding them to available parking spaces when needed.

Role responsibilities – including but not limited to:

• Collection and delivery of Customers BMWs and MINIs from the surrounding area for service work
• Telephoning customers before setting off to check address details and confirm pick-up time
• Meet and great customers in a professional manner with a warm greeting stating your name and that you are from Partridge of Hampshire
• Carry out bodywork condition inspections on pick-up
• Advising customers of any outstanding items
• Collecting payment if require
• Presenting yourself and acting in a professional manner at all times
• Provide the very highest levels of customer service
• Work as a car park host at Chandler’s Ford site

Who you need to be?

To succeed in this role, you will be highly passionate about our brand, our standards and our vision.

• You must have confident and professional communication skills
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, whilst recognising individual responsibility also have strong team working skills to contribute to the performance and success of the department
• A full UK Driving Licence
• We will also expect you to be a team player who is willing to go the extra mile to keep our customers happy.

Your experience

• Clean and current UK Driving Licence with a minimum of 5 years’ experience
• Ability to control and drive various high-powered vehicles of varied nature and size
• Ability to read and understand documentation relating to vehicle
• Understanding and observation of the Highway Code and other current traffic motoring regulations

Full UK Driving Licence essential
