We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated, conscientious and innovative teacher to be a part of our exciting journey, and our developing learning community. We are a large English medium primary school, situated in the heart of Barry town. We are looking for someone with a genuine and relentless drive to support children, so that they are inspired to flourish in their learning, and beyond.

Pay Details: Teachers Main Pay Scale

Days / Hours per Week: Full Time

Permanent / Temporary: Temporary for 1 year starting September

The successful candidate will:

• be an inspiring classroom practitioner who nurtures and leads children to flourish, through high quality learning experiences
• have the enthusiasm, energy and ability to motivate, challenge and support
• demonstrate excellent communication skills to work effectively in partnership with parents, staff, governors and the local community
• have a good knowledge and understanding of pedagogy and curriculum
• have high expectations of achievement and raising standards
• demonstrate an ability to work collaboratively as an effective team member
• be adaptable, resourceful, creative and innovative

All teachers appointed to the school will be expected to play a full role in our school. This will include taking part in meetings and supporting extracurricular activities and events in school.
