Our Global Business Coordination department is responsible for anticipating, identifying, and responding to changes within a constantly evolving retail industry. We use state-of the art technology to drive innovation to bring about digital change that delivers real customer value. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Media Insights and Measurement Analyst to join our team. You will play a key role in the department, leading projects to drive the effectiveness and efficiency of ALDI’s media investment across all our markets.

Your New Role:

  • Developing and delivering complex projects designed to improve marketing effectiveness within ALDI markets. These projects could range from MMM adoption and management, to establishing a budget setting approach or analysing ALDI’s global brand health
  • Able to identify the full range of marketing metrics available and have a good understanding of how to choose the most relevant measures to best increase media effectiveness
  • Work closely with other Global departments and local marketing teams to drive improvement of ALDI’s marketing measurement, and focus on appropriate KPIs
  • Comfortable with marketing data analysis and able to identify and interpret insights in a meaningful way
  • Develop testing frameworks and work with local markets to adapt them to their needs and evaluate the success of Global and local initiatives
  • Approach projects with a problem solving attitude, looking for gaps in ALDI’s current measurement and analysis techniques, and working to identify solutions
  • Work closely with the global ALDI community. You’ll be closely collaborating with local teams to drive their success and help solve their media challenges.


About You:

  • Experience of working in a measurement or insights role
  • Experience in a Global role or of working with multiple markets, such as the UK, US, Germany, Austria and Italy
  • Experience of working with or developing a measurement framework, and implementing it in multiple markets
  • Experience of working with a range of qual/quant measurement techniques, brand and campaign tracking and uplift studies, media reporting, creative testing, and measurement and KPI frameworks
  • Understanding of how data and analytics can be used to drive business impact in marketing and good understanding of modelling techniques
  • A fantastic eye for detail, strong analytical skills
  • Proactive, inquisitive and personable nature
  • Educated to a degree level or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate to high level stakeholders


What you will get in Return:

  • Salary starting from £58,715 rising to £76,160
  • 5-day/40-hour week, working Monday-Friday, with an office on demand working model. Your office location will be Camden or Tamworth
