Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner within the Complex Needs Service. The post holder will work as part of the established Advanced Nurse Practitioner Team providing assessment, treatment and care to a high risk and complex client group who present with multiple and complex health and social care needs. This post requires you to work as part of a Health & Social Care Partnership within the City Centre using an assertive outreach approach meaning a driving license would be essential. The post holder will work as an integral part of the advanced practice team providing autonomous clinical assessment and diagnosis of complex patients and assessing for suitability of intravenous antibiotics for skin and soft tissue infections as part of the new OPAT service. The post holder will work closely with other members of the multi-disciplinary team. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, be adaptable and have a desire to deliver high quality care to an extremely vulnerable client group. Training to master’s level in advanced practice or working towards this would be desirable but candidates willing to undertake annex 21 ANP training will also be considered.
