Job Description

The keys responsibilities are:

  • Managing annual service charge budgets and year-end accounts in liaison with our accounts department#
  • Reviewing accounting information, producing financial budgets and reports for clients when required
  • Oversee the planning and execution of day-to-day operations, maintenance, and inspections of all properties within the assigned portfolio
  • Consulting with Lessees on major works projects in line with s20 of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 (as amended)
  • Responding promptly and decisively to urgent maintenance issues
  • Organising & conducting regular site inspections, notifying repairs, reporting back to landlords and dealing with matters arising in conjunction with the appointed Surveyor - if applicable.
  • Dealing promptly and courteously with all communications from landlords, tenants & contractors
  • Establishing good relationships with clients and lessees alike, ensuring they are kept up to date with management issues
  • Dealing with insurance claims for properties within the designated portfolio


The Successful Applicant

  • The successful applicant will be employed as a Property Manager and be wholly responsible for their own portfolio, reporting to the Managing Director.
  • Potential candidates are preferred to have previous experience of working in Property Management in a Block Management setting and have the drive and passion to progress their personal career onward in a competitive manner whilst also working in an active team.
  • Pride themselves on their composure, organisation and communication skills which are essential for this role. Along with ensuring that full ownership of tasks is taken and likewise seeing tasks through to successful completion.
  • A relevant qualification in Property e.g. ARLA or IRPM but not essential
  • Happy to provide full support to get the qualification for the successful applicant.
  • Able to travel easily from site to site so use of a vehicle would also be an advantage.
