About the role?
We are seeking a Junior Salesforce Administrator to work within a small, busy IT department. Working from home, you will play a key role in delivering the full range of Salesforce services, including (but not limited to):
- Salesforce administration, including account maintenance, system changes, and monitoring of logs for errors or anomalies
- Supporting the Salesforce Lead in the development of the system
- Helping Salesforce users understand the utility of the application, the need for good record keeping, and the impact of any poor quality data input
- To explain to users the options available to them when the system is utilised fully and how it can help them in making decisions or supporting their clients
- To deliver the highest quality Salesforce support to all staff by working collaboratively with other members of the IT Department via the helpdesk ticketing system
- To record and document new development requests
- To test new Salesforce developments
About you
It is essential that you are a Salesforce certified administrator and have experience of working on an IT Helpdesk, remotely supporting and training end users.
You must have the ability to translate business requirements into non-technical terms and have good listening skills to ensure the needs of the user are understood.
You must also be confident in working on your own initiative, have a logical and analytical approach to problem solving, be pro-active where you can see a need that will support the business objectives and have great attention to detail.
How will you make a difference?
You will be responsible for helping in the development of Salesforce operability and utility within the organisation; identifying opportunities where they exist.
You will provide Salesforce application support and specialist training to the wider organisation, including all staff, volunteers and sub-contractors. Gathering feedback on Salesforce and recommending improvements to the system itself or the training provided.
You will work resourcefully and collaboratively with people across the organisation to assist the wider organisation, fostering a learning culture where all views are respected.
