This is a 12-month fixed term role covering parental leave. A Hybrid position based out of our HQ in Darwen 3 days per week
About the Role:
As an experienced Web Designer, you’ll be part of a team who add value and make an impact by assisting our practices by leading on the creative side of producing a website. Creating layouts for landing pages, product pages and other areas of the website.
You’ll have the opportunity to continually innovate the ways we work and play a key part in our continued growth.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
You will be working closely with our practice teams and external partners to ensure visual elements are in place for use online, reflecting the appropriate branding and design aesthetic.
  • Taking a key role in the design and layout of a website.
  • Ensure website quality and efficiency by conducting regular test plans.
  • Improve the user experience and performance of the website regularly, following data analysis.
  • Using web content management systems.
  • Consult with designers to decide on UI/UX elements, e.g., graphics and navigation buttons.
  • Ensure our Project Management Systems and communication channels are up to date.
  • Implementing and maintaining high quality SEO policies and incorporating them with web content
The Ideal Candidate
You’ll be a creative and curios web designer, understanding business challenges and tackling them with confidence. Being a fantastic communicator who can build relationships and explain technical issues in a non-technical way. You’ll have experience of using Adobe suite and knowledge of SEO / SEM and no-code website builders.
