A client within the Public Sector based in Birmingham is currently recruiting for a Clerk of Works to join their Asset Management Safety Team as soon as possible. The client is offering a full time, temporary position on an ongoing basis with the ideal candidate having experience of working within a local authority.

The Role

Key purpose of the role is to work as part of the building surveyor project team delivering major investment works to the highest possible quality standards and to provide a high level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

• Attend Pre-Start Meetings arranged by the Project Surveyor before Project commencement to become familiar with Project matters and to meet the Project Team
• To develop a detailed understanding of the project and relevant KPI's through which to ensure effective site and work management, and delivery of expected project outcomes by the constructor.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require:

• Significant experience of working in the construction/property sector
• Qualified in a building related subject or relevant trade background

The client is looking to move quickly with this role and as such are offering £23 per hour Umbrella LTD Inside IR35.
