We are offering an exciting paid internship in Kew’s Science Directorate for undergraduates or recent graduates wishing to undertake a placement as part of their degree. This placement provides training in research and professional skills, as well as work experience within an internationally esteemed science and conservation organisation.
The project offers a unique opportunity to work with Kew’s Library & Archives team, helping to curate our digital collections. The intern will work alongside the Archives and Data & Digital teams, to help create, manage and ingest our digital collections. There will also be the opportunity to be involved in online outreach around these collections and the project. Full training will be provided, along with a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of Kew’s Library & Archives work and collections.
The internship would suit someone who has an undergraduate degree in history, digital humanities or librarianship/archival science/museum studies, or with a keen interest in these disciplines and wishing to gain experience prior to a post-graduate degree.
