BSM Contracts are currently hiring a joiner / kitchen fitter to join the team. We specialise in commercial & residential renovations and developments. Based in the Scottish Borders, we cover the Scottish central belt down to Cumbria & Northumberland.

We are looking for a candidate who possesses a calm and professional demeanour, coupled with a strong motivation to deliver exceptional results. Attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work well both independently and as part of a team are also essential qualities for success in this role.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in joinery and kitchen fitting
• Proficient in the use of hand and power tools
• Good knowledge of different materials and their properties
• Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans
• A full UK driving license
• DBS check

Key Tasks:

• Fitting structures e.g. doors, window frames, staircases, partition walls, roof timbers, floors and roof joints, decking & fencing
• Kitchen & bedroom fitting
• Installing doors, cupboards, skirting boards, door surrounds, shelving and ironmongery
• Snagging & warranty work
• Ensure the proper care and security of all BSM Contracts transportation, equipment, and assets to maintain their optimal condition and prevent any damage or loss.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £26,000.00-£35,000.00 per year

• DBS Check (preferred)
