Role: Lead Software Developer
Location: Southampton (hybrid available)

We have the opportunity for a well-motivated Lead Software Developer to join AVASK. You will be required to undertake technical and architectural duties to drive forward the roadmap of the software department and mentor the team.
You will continuously review working processes / platforms / languages / documentation to ensure best practice and industry-standard methods are being followed.
You will gather technical requirements (workshops) from in-house departments specifications and the SME, responding to bugs and feature requests to continuously improve the software product and to organise these requests into coding sprints for CI/CD with the Scrum Master and Project Coordinator.
You will have experience of CI/CD/DevOps/Scrum/Agile management methodologies in DevOps and Azure.
You will have excellent programming skills in high-level language C# and a desire to be involved in development day-to-day in and out of the sprint cycle. You will have knowledge of web-service APIs (REST, JSON, XML) and integration techniques for external packages/libraries.
