Please note: The successful applicant will be required to spend the majority of the first 8-12 weeks training within the Telemedical Hub in Bournemouth. For this reason we require candidates to live within a 60 minute commute to our Bournemouth unit (BH8 8LS)

Love working in Nursing or Midwifery but want to use your skills in a different way?

We are looking for Registered Adult Nurses (Level 1) or Midwives who are passionate about reproductive healthcare, dedicated to giving great client care & who are able to support women and men through their care journey with BPAS.

Based at home, with 1 day per month within BPAS Bournemouth Telemedical Hub, you will undertake telephone consultations with BPAS clients to provide abortion and Sexual Health information, discussing their treatment options and assessing their medical needs. Every client is different, & you will need to adapt your style to meet their requirements.

As a telemedical practitioner you will build a strong rapport with every client you talk to. Your quick thinking and clinical experience will be essential in determining the next steps for the client.

This is a permanent role working 24 hours per week over Monday, Tuesdays and Fridays with alternate Wednesday/Saturday shifts. Within this, there will be one late finish per week, working until 18:00. Further details to be discussed at interview.
