VACANCY: Van Driver Nationwide (3.5T flatbed)

Woodlands Home & Garden Group is a market leader in the manufacture of garden buildings, including sheds, summerhouses and log cabins. Based in three sites at Rodley, (LS13), Thornbury (BD3) and Horsforth (LS18) our sales have grown rapidly and we are now looking to expand our team of people - could you be the person we are looking for?

You will be part of a large team of drivers, who work nationwide with a great support network to help you learn the job.

Role Overview

Our drivers work nationwide, start time is 4.00 am onwards, Monday to Friday, on a rota basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Collection of a loaded vehicle on site for delivery that day
• Efficient driving and time management to ensure delivery schedules are maintained
• Completion of delivery paperwork
• Daily inspection of vehicles
• Ensuring vehicle and load are roadworthy at all times

Key Requirements

• Valid driving licence, points will be considered
• Self-motivated, confident when dealing with customers
• Manual handling is required therefore you will need to be physically fit
• Excellent customer service skills
• Use of straps and ratchets would be beneficial
