We are currently representing an award-winning Architectural Practice based in Cardiff that is actively seeking a Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist to develop their career within a well-established, talented team.

Our client specialises within the Residential sector, covering a wide variety of projects which includes high-end and high-rise residential schemes so they are seeking a Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist with professional experience within this sector. Projects that the successful Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist will be involved with include extensions, elevations, conversions and new builds. Key responsibilities will include attending site, assist with any technical queries, assist members of staff when required, manage workflow, produce working details, working closely with clients as well as ensure projects are completed to a high standard. The Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist will be using Revit daily so professional experience with this software is highly important.

This Architectural Practice prides themselves on the service they provide to their clients. The Successful Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist will be expected to have previous experience being the lead within a technical team as well as excellent communication skills.

Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Overview

• Working on a range of exciting developments within the Residential sector, covering a wide range of project typology
• Manage workflow
• Work closely with clients
• Attend site and assist with any technical queries
• Producing Technical / Working Drawings
• Work with Revit on a daily basis

Senior Architectural Technician / Technologist Position Requirements

• Minimum of 1 years' UK experience in the residential sector
• ACIAT / MCIAT Chartership preferred but not essential
• A skill at making decisions, acting on own initiative and operating in a pro-active way
• Good knowledge of UK Building Regulations, Understanding of Construction Technologies
• Visual Communication Skills; Attention to Detail and presentation skills
• Good knowledge of Revit
• Ability to commute to Cardiff
