Aneurin Leisure is an established charitable organisation campaigning to improve community life, encouraging our customers to support us via our many services and products.

We are looking for additional temporary tutors to work as part of the Adult Community Learning team to deliver sessional courses to adults during the 23/24 academic year.

Applicants should have a Level 3 or higher teaching qualification along with a subject specific qualification. They should be able to adapt teaching and learning strategies and select resources as appropriate in order to meet the needs of the learner and the awarding body. Applicants should also be able to adapt to a blended learning approach where it is appropriate.

It is essential that candidates are competent in Microsoft Office applications, together with a recognised qualification in teaching essential skills, including digital literacy. Tutors must have a working knowledge of digital learning platforms and e-portofolios.

In addition, applicants will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to lead, develop and motivate adult students to achieve their learning goals. A flexible approach to teaching is required.
